Rabbit and Guinea Pig Boarding Service

We offer an initial free, no obligation, consultation visit. We feel it is important to introduce ourselves to both you and your pet(s) to give you confidence that they are in the best possible hands.  During the visit, we can discuss your pet(s) specific needs.   We will also use this time to answer any questions you  may have regarding our service and take you through our Terms and Conditions.

We will look after rabbits and guinea pigs and you can bring them along in their own home so that they feel secure in their familiar environment.  We do, however, have spacious hutches if this is easier for you. We do ask you to supply their  food to enable your pet to maintain their normal diet.

What happens each day? 

• Feeding
• Fresh water
• Daily cleaning
• Love and attention
• Rabbits placed in runs

You will provide your pet(s) usual food so that they can maintain their normal diet. 

All our residents are provided with fresh vegetables daily, with your permission.
 
All Rabbits must have been vaccinated against VHD and Myxomatosis.
 
If, for any reason, you have not had a consultation meeting, please bring the vaccination card with you at time of boarding to show us upon arrival.

Fly screen protection barriers have been fitted to all of our hutches.  We will ensure all rabbits are kept clean and we will undertake frequent checks, however, Paws 4 Walking will not be held liable in the unfortunate event that your rabbit(s) or guinea pigs become victims of fly strike.  We would recommend that all rabbit/guinea pig owners have their pets treated with Fly Guard or a similar product in order to avoid fly strike.  This usually provides protection for up to 3 months.  We are happy to apply this spray for you, please see our treatment prices.

We must be advised of any medical conditions in advance.   All pets boarding with us must be in good health.  We will check your pet(s) for any signs of illness and if we feel they are unwell, unfortunately they will not be able to stay with us.

Your pet(s) will not be in contact with any other boarders.

We will care for your pet(s) to the best of our ability, however, if your pet(s) becomes ill during their stay, we will contact you immediately. Paws 4 Walking accept no liability in the unlikely event that your pet becomes ill or passes away whilst in our care. 

Paws 4 Walking are fully insured for public liability, care custody and control.
