Paws 4 Walking

Stanley is our lively, inquisitive and friendly fox terrier. He is walked every day by Lauren and is also taken by Paws 4 Walking’s pet taxi to the groomers every eight weeks for a clip and groom. We are delighted with Paw’s 4 Walking, Myles and Polly have that rare combination of warmth, care and attention to detail coupled with the highest level of professionalism. Stanley loves his walks and we trust Lauren 100% with both his welfare and that of our home. We can’t thank them enough and recommend them to anyone who wants a pet service they can trust.

Paws 4 Walking have looked after our Mini Schnauzer Baxter since he was 5 months old. They have been an absolute godsend to us. I can leave the house in the mornings guilt free knowing that Lorraine will shortly be collecting him for a fun day ahead with lots of exercise and socialising. Baxter adores other dogs (especially Labradors!) and I can definitely attribute this to the time he has spent with Lorraine and the other dogs that she walks and day boards. We always come home to a happy dog and I am sure if he was at home all day on his own he would be thoroughly miserable and bouncing off the walls as he has a lot of energy and hates being on his own. Myles and Polly work so hard and are always so flexible (which with my job is a very fortunate thing!). I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone looking for a professional and friendly dog walking or boarding service.

When we first decided to get a puppy, a major concern was how we would keep her happy and entertained whilst we were at work. We found Paws 4 Walking online and Myles was happy to visit us at home and talk us through everything. Over a year later, Amber is still having daily walks with the Paws 4 Walking team which she adores. On the occasions we have worked from home, it has been lovely to see how excited Amber gets when she hears her walker arrive, she practically bounces all over them! It is reassuring to know that she is having fun and being looked after each day, and Myles and Polly have been very flexible, helping us out if we need a walk at weekends. We know that if we have to be away from home without Amber, they will find a home for her to stay in so that she does not have to go to kennels. Our guinea pig Caramel is a repeat visitor to the Paws Inn and I have gone to collect him after a holiday to find him happily munching on grass in the outdoor run. He always comes back a happy boy and we know he has been well looked after. The whole team look after our pets as though they were their own and we are very happy with the great service they have given us.

We initially booked Paws 4 Walking for a weekly walk for Mylo and it soon became clear this was the highlight of his week as he'd developed a strong bond with his walkers. We were so impressed with the care and attention Mylo received on his walks that we started using their boarding service and we haven't looked back. We have stress free holidays knowing Mylo is having the time of his life, often reluctant to come home! We regularly board Mylo overnight on weekends when we're staying away with non-doggy friends or if we're simply going to be out all day. It just means everyone is happy. I cannot praise Myles and Polly enough for the amazing service they offer and for employing such enthusiastic people, worth every penny.

I wanted to say how much Max loves his walks every day with Lorraine. Come weekends, he cannot wait for Mondays so that he can go out with his favourite dog walker again. Although we take him on walks over the weekend, he definitely prefers his walks with Lorraine. Your services are excellent and anyone will be happy to leave their pets in your capable hands. I honestly don't know what I will do without you!

We adore our Labrador puppy Oscar and feel comfortable going off to work in the morning knowing he will have a fun day with his walker Mary rather than a boring one all on his own. We are sure his fantastic behavior can partly be attributed to his company in the day from Paws4Walking. Without them we would have found having a puppy and working full-time an impossibility. There have been many occasions when they have helped us at very short notice, and sometimes even going out of their way to make sure Oscar is kept company when we are late home from work. We are lucky to be clients of Paws4Walking as they have given great advice, been extremely reliable, very flexible and always having Oscar's wellbeing at heart.

I have known Myles for about a year now as he walks both of my neighbours dogs and he got to know my Great Dane Monty from an early age, who very quickly realised that Myles meant treats! I asked if he did house sitting but was quite nervous about leaving my dog with a relative stranger, but was assured from the start that all would be fine. That has to be the understatement of the year! On my return Monty was so relaxed and happy he didn’t seemed bothered that I had been away, infact when Myles popped round the following day he would have quite happily gone out for a walk, no anxiety at all. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this service, my house was immaculate (thanks Polly), the dog groomed and content, what more could you ask for. I will leave Monty again with Myles and enjoy my holiday knowing he is in very capable hands.

We have been delighted with the service given by Myles and the team at Paws 4 Walking. We are very lucky to have "found" them. Paws 4 Walking have looked after Guinness as they would do their own, it is not a business - it is a passion.  Guinness has very happily been for his "holidays" in a home from home setting and goes nuts when Myles comes for his daily visit - that says it all!

Paws4walking have been brilliant at looking after Maisy our 6 month old cocker spaniel since she was 12 weeks old.  Myles & Polly have been doing puppy visits twice a week and it is a real pleasure knowing that she is being looked after well whilst we are at work & that the house is in safe hands!  It is also brilliant getting text updates letting us know how she is getting on and she really looks forward to her visits& walks. When we recently went away on holiday there was no question about her staying with Myles & Polly.  She had a brilliant week there, was treated like one of the family, slept in her own bed, had regular walks and made lots of new friends (still misses Faustino!).  Plus we had regular text updates & photos letting us know she was ok.  We will definitely be using this service again next year. I would not hesitate to recommend Paws 4 Walking to you.  They offer a fantastic, professional service and you know that your pet is in good hands.

Thank you so much to Polly at Paws for Walking.  You have really helped my family so much with Pablo.  I spent all day on the phone looking for a foster family for my little chi Pablo.  My daughter was diagnosed with cancer, so I have to spend a lot of time in and out of hospital at the moment and was worried I would have to sell the much loved family dog and was desperately trying to find a home in a hurry for Pablo.  I contact Paws 4 Walking and Polly straight away put an advert on the local radio, Harborough FM, for us; looking for a temporary volunteer foster home and just in time before our next trip to hospital a wonderful couple came forward to help us with our little Pablo.  I would really like to  thank everybody for helping us at this very stressful time, you have all helped us so much.

Paws 4 Walking were a great help when we received a call to advise us the puppy we thought we were going to see had sadly been sold to another couple. As you can imagine, you set your heart on getting the puppy the same weekend – especially as it was a Birthday present! We contacted Myles to ask for his help. Not only did Myles and Polly ring around a number of breeders in the area, they arranged a mutually convenient time to take us to meet some puppies. When we arrived the puppies were with their Mum and Dad and the choice to us was easy, suffice to say we came away with our beloved Archie. Many thanks to you both for your help it is very much appreciated. Archie looks forward to coming to stay with you when we go on our holidays! We would not hesitate in recommending Paws 4 Walking for going above and beyond our expectations, we couldn’t be happier with our choice.

Paws 4 Walking have been looking after Jodie since she was a puppy.  As you can see they walk in all weathers!  Jodie looks forward to her daily fun-filled walks and also the treats she has when she returns.  It is great to know that she is lovingly looked after whilst we are at work.  I would not hesitate to recommend Paws 4 Walking, they are reliable and trustworthy and have a key to our home so that they can pick up Jodie at the pre-agreed time.

I'm Jasper, when my family go on holiday, I go on holiday too!  I spend at least three weeks with Myles each year.  He looks after me, gives me lots of TLC and I really enjoy it when the weather is nice as I am allowed out in the run.  I am used to my daily treats when I am at home and Myles gives me my carrots each day too!  Hence my name Jasper Carrot!

Alfie is walked twice a week  when we are unable to walk him due to personal commitments.  Paws 4 Walking not only run a professional business they also love and care about the pets they look after.  Getting in touch with them was one of the best moves we have made - thanks Myles and Polly you really do make the difference!  Here is a very relaxed Alfie after one of his walks.

"Poppy has been enjoying her visits from Myles since she was 3 months old, particularly his puppy visits when she was too young to go outside. Not only did she have a playmate during these visits but he also helped teach her some basic commands which was fantastic! Myles's now picks up Poppy for her daily 'walkies' and we are comfortable in the knowledge that she'll be in good hands whilst we're at work. Paws 4 walking have been nothing but reliable, flexible and trustworthy since they began helping with Poppy and we are extremely grateful. Myles has always gone above and beyond for Poppy and not only does he walk her but he is happy to give her lunch, clean up any 'accidents' and always give us an update on her progress. We have been extremely impressed with Paws4Walking since the first day we contacted them to find suitable care for our puppy when we aren't around. The professionalism and flexibility have been fantastic. Myles looks after Pickles as if she was his own and she looks forward to his visits every day. The socialisation of walking Pickles with other dogs is brilliant - she's learning new skills all the time and is always tired out and ready for a nap afterwards. Thank you for taking such good care of our little treasure. We would have no hesitation in recommending your fantastic service to anyone. It's money well spent!

Marmite is our beloved 2 year old labby, and is used to a busy house where he gets lots of fuss and cuddles, and company.  We can't stand the idea of sending him to kennels when we are away, and he has been grumpy and had an upset tum when we have left him with friends in the past.  Thankfully we have found the perfect solution as Marmite has Myles to look after him whilst we are away, and he can snuggle up in his own bed at night, has the run of his own garden and gets to go on his regular walks and meet his doggy friends whilst we are away, and we can holiday safe in the knowledge that he (and Myles) are keeping the house safe at the same time.
Thank you Myles for making it easier for us all to go away for breaks knowing the Marmite enjoys his holidays too!

My name is Basil, Myles looks after me when my  family go away for their holidays.  He visits me twice a day.  He puts me in the garden each morning and I enjoy my lettuce leaves, however, I do give him the run-around some evenings when he struggles to find me in garden as I am usually sleeping under a nice cool plant.  I am no trouble in the winter though, I don't need any visits  as I am kept in the fridge!

"Mr Baggins has been looked after by Myles and Polly for the past few months when we have been away for some long weekends.   He always looks well and is clearly happy upon our return and I know he enjoys being groomed too - how you spoil him!  It also gives us peace of mind to know that our home is being visited whilst we are away, thanks for watering the plants too!  We would not hesitate in recommending your services".
